Preface

This site contains lecture notes and materials for the data engineering and computing sequence of the Master of Science in Applied Data Science program, including the courses:

  • 36-614 Data Engineering and Distributed Environments
  • 36-615 Software for Large-Scale Data
  • 36-616 Computational Methods for Statistics

These courses are primarily for students in the MADS program. Other students will only be admitted with the instructor’s permission.
